Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul…

November 16, 2010

Snowmen today!

So firstly a yoyo snowman. This was made by making three yoyo, from felt circles of 3 1/2″, 3″ and 2 1/2″. These are then lightly stuffed and stitched together. The hat is made from three pieces of felt – rectangle, circle and a ring for the brim of the hat. The features are all hand stitched beads.

The felt snowman is simple felt stitched together, stuffed and the hat and scarf added. I used a wooden snowman as the template, adding a seam allowance.

Lastly this is my pattern for a beaded snowman. It uses predominately seed beads with a few other sizes and shapes mixed in. I used my favourite 28 gauge impex wire again.
